Start with where everyone is spending the night
For guests coming from Palm Beach or West Palm Beach, start with Palm Beach International. If everyone is staying near Las Olas or Fort Lauderdale Beach, compare Fort Lauderdale Executive with Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International. If one guest is flying into Fort Lauderdale to join you, share their airline arrival time so we can allow for baggage claim and the transfer to the private terminal.

Choose Aspen first, and decide what Eagle would mean
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is our first look for a stay in downtown Aspen or Snowmass. Its mountain setting, high elevation and local operating restrictions mean that the right aircraft and arrival window matter. If snow or low visibility makes Aspen impractical, Eagle County Regional is an alternate worth discussing. It adds a longer drive, and winter road conditions can change that timing. We’ll agree on the pickup plan ahead of time so you know what happens to your ski fitting or dinner reservation if the arrival changes.

Use the time difference without spending the whole buffer
Aspen is two hours behind South Florida. If you leave at 10 a.m. Florida time and the flight takes four and a half hours, you’d land at 12:30 p.m. Colorado time. Treat that as touchdown time, with the drive and unloading still ahead.
