Private Jet Charter from Miami to Cancún

If you’re leaving Miami for a welcome dinner in Mayakoba, tell us when you want to be at the table. If your villa is on Isla Mujeres, the time that matters might be your boat pickup. We’ll work backward from the first thing you’re looking forward to, with time for customs and the trip from the private terminal.

Aircraft & flight time

Featured airport pair: Miami–Opa locka (OPF) to Cancún (CUN)

The estimates start with this pair. Select another listed airport to compare.

CategoryEst. nonstop timeEstimated max passengers

Midsize jet1h 20m – 1h 45mUp to 8
Super-midsize jet1h 15m – 1h 40mUp to 10

Planning estimates use straight-line distance, assumed category speeds and an allowance for climb, descent and routing. Actual time and nonstop capability depend on the aircraft, winds, passenger and baggage load, and airport conditions. Fuel stops and ground time are excluded. Passenger counts are upper-end seating examples for each category. The number your flight can carry depends on the aircraft layout, baggage, fuel and airport conditions.

Planning detail 01

Start with where everyone is coming from

For guests in Pinecrest or farther south, compare Miami Executive. If the group is coming from Aventura or northern Miami-Dade, start with Miami–Opa locka Executive. If someone is connecting through Miami International, we can look at leaving from the same airport and allow time for checked bags and the transfer to the private terminal.

Planning detail 02

Choose the arrival airport by the resort’s address

Cancún International has a private aviation terminal and is a natural first look for the Hotel Zone, Costa Mujeres or Mayakoba. If your stay is farther south around Tulum, we can compare Tulum International based on your property, aircraft and arrival arrangements. For a wedding, share both your hotel and venue addresses; we’ll plan around where you need to be first.

Planning detail 03

Set up your Isla Mujeres crossing before departure

If your hotel has arranged a boat, ask for the mainland pickup point and the latest time they can meet you. If you prefer a ferry, we’ll confirm the terminal and check sailings for your date. Either way, we’ll allow time to clear customs, collect your bags and get to the dock.

Questions about Miami to Cancún charters

Can we land and make a wedding welcome dinner that evening?

Yes, if the schedule leaves enough room. Tell us when you need to be at the venue and whether you want to stop at the hotel to change. We’ll work backward from there, including arrival clearance and the drive.

Can I bring my wedding dress in the cabin?

Tell us how it’s packed and whether it needs to lie flat or hang. We’ll check the cabin layout and confirm how it can be stowed before you choose an aircraft.

What if we miss the last boat to Isla Mujeres?

We’ll check your hotel’s boat window or the ferry schedule before setting the flight time. If a late departure from Miami leaves little room, we’ll talk through an earlier flight or a mainland overnight before you book.
